Laboratory-Grown Diamond Tennis Bracelets

A tennis bracelet is the one piece where stone quality has nowhere to hide — thirty to fifty diamonds sit shoulder to shoulder, and a single warm or included stone breaks the line. That is why every bracelet is crafted with D–E color, VVS1–VVS2 clarity laboratory-grown diamonds, matched for cut, and set only after you order.

  • Independent IGI grading report with every bracelet
  • Built to your wrist measurement, no upcharge
  • Double-locking box clasp with safety catch
  • Free lifetime warranty on manufacturing defects

How to choose a diamond tennis bracelet

1. Set the carat weight

Total carat weight drives both the look and the price. At 3ct on a 7-inch line each stone is roughly 2.4mm — refined, easy to wear beside a watch. At 5ct stones grow to about 3.2mm and the bracelet reads as a solid ribbon of light. Above 6ct, expect a bolder, more formal piece with noticeable weight on the wrist.

2. Pick the setting style

Four-prong shared settings show the most stone and throw the most light. Full bezels cover a sliver of each diamond but produce a smooth line that will not catch on sweaters, hair or gym equipment — the better choice if the bracelet never comes off. Channel and half-bezel styles sit in between.

3. Choose a shape and metal

Round brilliants maximize sparkle. Ovals and emerald cuts cover more wrist per carat — ovals for softness, emerald cuts for long, mirror-like flashes. White gold keeps the focus on the diamonds; yellow and rose gold add contrast and warmth against the colorless stones.

Why our stones grade higher at the same price

Most tennis bracelets sold online are assembled from mixed parcels of F–G color, VS clarity melee, because parcels are cheaper to buy and the difference is hard to see in a retouched photograph. On the wrist it shows: warmer stones read slightly yellow against colorless neighbors, and VS inclusions catch the eye under direct light.

Every bracelet uses D–E color, VVS1–VVS2 laboratory-grown diamonds matched across the entire line before setting. Because we hold no inventory and sell direct from Tampa, that higher grade costs about what other retailers charge for the lower one. Each bracelet arrives with its IGI report so you can verify every claim.

Tennis bracelet FAQs

How many carats should a diamond tennis bracelet be?
Most people land between 3 and 5 carats total weight on a 7-inch line. A 3ct bracelet reads delicate and stacks easily with a watch; 5ct and up gives a continuous ribbon of light with almost no metal visible between stones. Because every Modern Origin bracelet is made to order, we can hold the carat weight and change the length, or hold the length and change the stone size.
Are laboratory-grown diamond tennis bracelets real diamonds?
Yes. A laboratory-grown diamond is chemically, physically and optically the same material as a mined diamond — pure crystallized carbon. The difference is origin: ours are grown in a controlled reactor rather than extracted from the earth, and every bracelet ships with an independent IGI grading report describing the stones as laboratory-grown.
Why do your bracelets use D–E color and VVS clarity?
In a tennis bracelet you are looking at 30 to 50 stones side by side, so any warmth or visible inclusion in one stone stands out against its neighbors. Every bracelet is crafted only with D–E color and VVS1–VVS2 clarity so the line stays uniformly colorless. Many retailers advertise a low price on F color and VS1 stones, which look noticeably warmer once they sit next to each other.
What length should I order?
Measure your wrist snugly with a soft tape and add roughly half an inch. Most women order 6.5 to 7 inches; 7.5 inches wears looser and rotates more. Every bracelet is crafted to your measurement at no extra cost and length adjustments are available for a fee.
How secure is the clasp?
Every bracelet uses a box clasp with a figure-eight safety catch soldered over it, so the clasp has to fail twice before the bracelet can open. The 5ct Riviera adds a second catch.
How long does it take to receive?
We do not hold stock. Your bracelet is crafted by our partner atelier after you order, then inspected and shipped insured from Tampa, FL in 2–3 weeks.
